Park City is renowned for our fabulous events and activities year-round, and August features three of the best. First, head over to historic Main Street for the Kimball Arts Festival from August 2-4. This year’s fest will feature over 200 juried artists and 30 live musical acts. Fabulous food and drink will be available from Freshies Lobster Co., Banh Mi Time, craft beer from Park City Brewery, and much more. Next up is the famous Tour of Utah from August 12-18. This grueling peloton begins at Snowbird Resort and will continue through several Utah cities before ending the professional cycling event in Park City with the final 2 stages on August 17th and 18th.
Lastly, this year’s Oktoberfest will be hosted for the first time by Canyons Village from August 30 – September 1 and will feature all the traditional food, beer, and fun. This family-friendly celebration of Bavarian culture will feature German beer in the Bavarian Beer Hall and traditional Oktoberfest fare in the Bavarian Market. There will also be a stein lifting competition, a Bavarian Costume contest, and traditional dance and music by the Park City Polka Players, the Bavarian Performers, the Schuhuplattler Bavarian Dancers, Neue Polka.
