September 20-October 31, 2024: Witchfest At Gardner Village

WitchFest at Gardner Village is a beloved annual event that transforms the village into a magical Halloween wonderland. Visitors are invited to enjoy a variety of festive activities, from witch-themed scavenger hunts and photo ops with whimsical displays to live entertainment and the popular Witchapalooza Dinner Theater. The event also features creative shopping opportunities, delightful seasonal treats, and the chance to spot witches roaming the village. With its enchanting atmosphere and wide range of activities, WitchFest is a family-friendly celebration of all things spooky and fun.

WitchFest is Friday, September 20-Tuesday, October 31, 2024, and runs daily, Monday-Saturday. No admission fees to visit. Parking fees are charged each Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during WitchFest.

October 5, 2024: Scarecrow Festival

The Scarecrow Festival at McPolin Farm offers a fun, hands-on experience for visitors of all ages. Lost Prospector:

Lost Prospector is a low-elevation trail in Park City. It dries out quickly and is a popular choice among locals. It is the first machine-built trail in the area. It’s great for warming up or adding extra miles to a ride. Be cautious of other trail users, as it is easily accessed from the Prospector neighborhood. Make sure to watch out for hikers and bikers.

Armstrong:

Armstrong is a directional trail for bikers (uphill only), but hikers can go up or down. Armstrong climbs at a remarkably constant, moderate grade that makes the uphill pretty enjoyable. Charlie’s 9k:

The Charlie’s 9K trail contours the higher hillside southwest of Park City. At around 9000 feet elevation, it is a higher-elevation version of the Midmountain Trail (at 8000 feet). Two segments have been completed as of fall 2020. It now runs 5.2 miles from Empire Pass to the Blazing Saddles trail above Shadow Lake.
